Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics has signed a three-year purchasing agreement with AmeriNet, which OCD claims is worth an estimated $75 million. Under the agreement AmeriNet members will get preferred pricing on all Vitros brand clinical chemistry and immunoassay instruments, reagents, consumables and accessories. OCD is a Raritan, New Jersey-based subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. AmeriNet has a membership of more than 7,200 healthcare facilities across the US.
