Drew Scientific is to collaborate with Birkbeck College at London University, to develop a range of blood chemistry tests to run on the company's Microcount cell counter which it will launch later this year. The cell counter is UK company Drew's first venture outside diabetes testing and the "smart card" add-on unit will allow near patient testing of a wide range of blood parameters, it claims.
