Biosense Webster in catheter purchase deal

Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Biosense Webster has signed a purchasing agreement for its electrophysiology catheters with Novation. The agreement covers both diagnostic and therapeutic catheters. The deal takes place immediately and will run until the end of September 2002. Novation, which is headquartered in Irving, Texas, manages over $12 billion in supply purchases for around 6,400 healthcare organisations in the US.
