Lunar introduced its pencil-beam bone densitometer, DPX-NP, at the Radiological Society of North America meeting in Chicago. The product offers precise bone density measurements of the spine, femur and total body. The exclusive DualFemur application measures both femurs in a quick, automated sequence. Madison, Wisconsin-based Lunar says the product, the latest development in its DPX range, is an affordable, yet full-featured densitometer with unprecedented automation and rapid patient throughput.
