Cardima has CE-marked its Revelation T-Flex steerable ablation microcatheter for treating atrial fibrillation. The device incorporates eight coiled electrodes, which make it more flexible and improve its ability to conform to the heart's wall when creating a thin linear lesion. It also has eight tissue-sensing elements that come into direct contact with tissue, optimising the accuracy of temperature monitoring, said the Fremont, California-based company.
