OEC Medical Systems has increased its minority shareholding in privately-owned Heartlab, a company that is developing real-time, filmless cardiac network systems and software. Salt Lake City, Utah-based OEC first took its minority shareholding in March last year. The company has recently been acquired by GE Medical Systems for $480 million (see Clinica No 871, p 11).
