Dr Ulrich Nafe has retired from EUCOMED, the European confederation of medical device industry associations. Dr Nafe has served in several positions for EUCOMED, most recently as an "ambassador" for the European approach to medical device regulation in Asian countries which are developing their own device legislation. Dr Nafe's successor will be Derek Rochford, formerly director of regulatory affairs with Johnson & Johnson Far East in Malaysia.
