Interim results from a Phase I drug dose escalation study of photoangioplasty using Pharmacyclics' Antrin photosensitiser in patients with peripheral atherosclerosis appear to confirm the effectiveness of the technique. The results were reported during a presentation at a meeting of the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology in Orlando, Florida last week.
