Brazil's Biofast more than doubling lab-test volumes year-on-year

Brazil's Biofast Group, operator of a chain of clinical analysis laboratories in São Paulo, has reported 200% year-on-year growth in revenues in 2009, on the back of a 133% rise in the number of tests it performed, according to a brief statement posted on the Hospitalar.com website. It is said to be the group's second year of growth at this rate. In 2010, Biofast expects to further increase its laboratory activity by 110%, to 1.5 million tests per month, and to increase revenues by an estimated 150%.
