European medical devices market sees steady growth

Europe's medical technology products market is growing at a steady 5-8% a year, says the European medical devices industry association (EUCOMED), in its latest annual report. EUCOMED values the European market at Euro39 billion, representing 24.5% of the world market of Euro160 billion. The European market is dominated by Germany, which has a 36% share. France is second with 19%, and the UK, is a distant third (10%).
