ArthroCare takes on European sales from Arthrex:

Executive Summary

ArthoCare has assumed direct management of its European sales operation, parting company with Arthrex, a rival US arthroscopic manufacturer, which acted as an "umbrella" distributor since 1997. Stockholm, Sweden-based ArthoCare Europe says that it can now provide more competitive pricing, after the reduction of a layer of management. Individual country distributors will remain and the company says it has no plan to take over European marketing completely.
