Executive Summary
Integra LifeSciences has begun Phase III trials of its peripheral nerve regeneration conduit in Europe. The trials will focus on restoring function following traumatic injury of the median nerve and will be carried out at the Hospital Clinic de Barcelona in Spain and at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Plainsboro, New Jersey-based company said it expects the trials to last approximately two years, after which it will seek approval for the product in the US and Europe.
