Bio-Rad Laboratories, a US manufacturer of life science research products, clinical diagnostics and analytical instrumentation, has promoted John Goetz to vice-president and group manager of its clinical diagnostics business. Mr Goetz, who has been with the company 25 years, replaces George Bers, who left Bio-Rad in May to pursue other interests.
