Executive Summary
US company Marconi Medical Systems has agreed in principle to a multiyear, exclusive distribution agreement with Shimadzu for CT products in Japan. Kyoto-based Shimadzu will sell Marconi's multi-slice CT scanners and oncology products as well as its own CT range. The two companies already have agreements covering MRI, nuclear medicine and single-slice CT products. Marconi is based in Cleveland, Ohio.
