Executive Summary

German company Connex is developing what could become the most rapid stool-based test for the Helicobacter pylori stomach ulcer-causing bacterium. The test, a lateral flow-based device called MiniLab H pylori Cnx (HPC), will be suitable for use in a doctor's office, in a hospital or even at home, the Martinsried company told delegates at the Millennium Diagnostic Conference in Wales last month.
