ResMed has bought its Swiss distributor, Basel-based Labhardt, in a bid to increase its presence in Europe, which already represents around half of its sales. As a result of the deal, San Diego-based ResMed also has direct operations in Germany, France, the UK and Sweden. ResMed develops and markets devices for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing.
