A US law firm has filed a worldwide class action suit against Baxter International, its healthcare division and Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing (3M), maker of the chemical believed to be responsible for an unconfirmed number of deaths linked to Baxter dialysers (see Clinica No 983, pp 1-2).
