Europe clears Fischer's digital mammography:

Executive Summary

Fischer Imaging has CE-marked for sale in Europe its full-field digital mammography system, SenoScan. The device, which uses the company's patented slot-scanning detector, was approved for sale in the US in September (see Clinica No 977, p 17). Fischer has already received two initial orders to install the system in France and Sweden. The European approval opens up the second largest market in the world for the product, says the Denver, Colorado company.
