Possis Medical has signed an agreement with HealthTrust Purchasing Group to supply its AngioJet rheolytic thrombectomy system to HPG's more than 700 member facilities. The deal takes effect from October 1 2001 and will last until December 31 2002. The system is sold in the US for removing blood clots from coronary arteries and bypass grafts, leg arteries and AV dialysis access grafts.
