Hemagen has received US FDA 510(k) clearance to market a new rotor for use on its clinical chemistry analyser, Analyst. The rotor, called Panels + is designed for use in physician's office laboratory and small clinics, says the Columbia, Maryland firm. It incorporates four additional tests - for carbon dioxide, phosphorous, albumin and direct bilirubin - in addition to 10 previously cleared tests.
