CryoCath seek to build Euro endorsements:

This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

Boosting European acceptance of CryoCath Technologies' Freezor tachyarrythmia system is the name of the game for the Kirkland, Quebec company, as it seeks to build endorsement of the system. The European roll-out continues this and next year, and a US launch is targeted for 2003. A recent live telecast of a cardiac arrythmia cryoablation procedure using Freezor will have done much to generate interest in catheter cryotherapy, believes CryoCath. The procedure was carried out at the 2001 Global Endovascular Therapy conference, in Monaco, France. Ten European hospitals use the Freezor system.
