LifeLinkMD, which provides public access automated external defibrillators, has secured $1.6 million in a financing round. Investors include John McDonnell, CEO of Transaction Network Services, and James Kinsey, co-founder of AOL. At the same time, the Washington DC company has made a distribution and marketing agreement with the National Capital Chapter of the American Red Cross.
