Executive Summary
The Project Council (PC) that has overseen the development of the Global Medical Device Nomenclature (GMDN) is on the point of handing over the nomenclature to a maintenance agency. Meeting at the London offices of the British Standards Institute (BSI), which holds the PC secretariat at present, in mid-May, members of the PC agreed that the handover should be possible in July.
