Cleveland Medical Devices has received US FDA 510(k) clearance to market its lightweight, wireless electroencephalogram (EEG) monitoring system. The Crystal-EEG Model 15 is about the size of a deck of cards and allows doctors to perform EEG tests on a laptop or PC, reducing the cost and complexity associated with bulky diagnostic equipment, claims the Cleveland, Ohio company.
