Christopher Thompson has been appointed chair of the scientific advisory board of Coyote Ventures Corp (Las Vegas, Nevada). Coyote Ventures specialises in the research, development and commercialisation of medical imaging technologies involved in the detection and localisation of cancer. Dr Thompson, a cardiologist with extensive experience in the evaluation of emerging cardiac therapies and device technologies, will be responsible for guiding product development and clinical trials, and advising on regulatory approvals.
