Executive Summary
Medex is to expand its cardio-pulmonary business through the acquisition of Inhalation Plastics (IPI), a manufacturer and distributor of anaesthesia and respiratory care products. The move, which will enhance Medex' core range of critical care products for use in intensive care, anaesthesia and catheterisation/radiology departments, is estimated to increase its global market potential by over $800m, Medex says.
