The UAE's first private heart clinic has been opened at the Welcare hospital in Dubai. Permission to build the centre, which was set up at a cost of Dh12.8m ($3.5m) was granted in April by the department of health and medical services. The centre incorporates a Siemens cath lab coroscope with digital filmless technology aimed at cutting diagnosis time.
