Iran to provide Syria with medical technology:

Executive Summary

Iran last week agreed to share its latest medical technology and instruments with Syria. During a meeting with Syrian Health Minister Muhammad Iyad ash-Shati, the Iranian Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ali Abdolalizadeh, said that Iran had agreed to equip three Syrian hospitals. Iran will also specifically provide Syria with instruments and know-how to perform chochlea implant surgery, he added. Mr Abdolalizadeh also said that he hoped the two countries would come to an agreement on the transference of expertise in the area of implant operations and the manufacture of artificial limbs.
