Iran last week agreed to share its latest medical technology and instruments with Syria. During a meeting with Syrian Health Minister Muhammad Iyad ash-Shati, the Iranian Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ali Abdolalizadeh, said that Iran had agreed to equip three Syrian hospitals. Iran will also specifically provide Syria with instruments and know-how to perform chochlea implant surgery, he added.
