Surgicraft is to distribute Anika Therapeutics' Orthovisc product for osteoarthritis of the knee in the UK. The three-year deal gives the Woburn, Massachusetts company exclusive rights to the product. The injectable form of hyaluronic acid is designed to relieve the pain and improve joint mobility of osteoarthritis sufferers. Redditch, UK-based Surgicraft develops and markets orthopaedic products, mainly for the spine and knee.
