German device industry urges ministry to support enteral feeding

The German medical device industry association, BVMed, has written urgently to the ministry of health requesting it not to give the go-ahead to proposals by the federal committee of doctors and hospitals to remove the provision of enteral nutrition from the catalogue of reimbursable procedures. The proposals were included in recent amendments to the pharmaceutical guidelines, but are "misguided", BVMed argues.
