Executive Summary
LAM Pharmaceutical says that a study of its wound healing gel LAM IMP has shown positive results. The 24-week study showed a healing rate of 88% in 53 hard-to-heal skin ulcers treated with gel. All the patients had ulcers that had failed to respond to other forms of treatment for at least four weeks before they were enrolled in the study, notes the Lewiston, New York firm. The findings are scheduled for presentation at the Annual Symposium on Advanced Wound Care meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, next month.
