Urology company Endocare is to buy private company Timm Medical Technologies and will pay around $11 million in cash and 1.6 million shares. Timm, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, distributes urological products and devices throughout the US, reaching some 4,000 urologists. The deal will more than double Endocare's salesforce and the combined company will have direct access to more than half of the total number of urologists in the US, Irvine, California-based Endocare says.
