Quinton Cardiology Systems, of Bothell, Washington, is to sell its haemodynamic monitoring product line to Camtronics (Hartland, Wisconsin), a subsidiary of Analogic, under a four-year alliance. Camtronics will pay Quinton $1.75m in the first year, and further payments of up to $1.5m based on sales to ex-Quinton customers over four years. Camtronics has an existing business in haemodynamics monitoring and also specialises in cardiac imaging, data management and networking systems. Camtronics will take complete responsibility for selling Quinton's products after a hand-over period of six months.
