Encore Medical has gained FDA approval to market its Cyclone spinal fusion implant in the US. The anterior cervical plate is the first spine product entirely manufactured and distributed by the Austin, Texas company. Encore says it is also expecting FDA approval of its Ceramnic-on-Ceramic acetabular hip implant by the end of the year.
