Specialized Health Products International (SHPI) is to apply its SecureLoc safety needle technology to spinal and epidural needles to be sold by Becton Dickinson (BD). BD will fund some of the Bountiful, Utah firm's R&D and regulatory and commercialisation costs, and will pay royalties on marketed products.
