The Florida Eye Bank has signed an agreement with the government of the UAE to supply corneal implants for the ophthalmic section of the Dubai Hospital. The ministry of health says that the move will mean that patients will no longer have to seek treatment abroad. The hospital requires between four to eight corneal implants per month, reports the Khaleej Times.
