Rotech Healthcare, an Orlando, Florida firm that provides home respiratory products, has been subpoenaed by US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois. The company was served with search warrants by federal agents on April 30. It says it is co-operating fully with the investigation, but has not been informed of the subject matter of the inquiry. However, it has already carried out an internal investigation into revenue reporting on contracts with the US Department of Veterans' Affairs, and provided documents to the SEC's enforcement division in this regard. It has also restated previous financial results and emerged from a period of bankruptcy protection.
