Swiss medical device company med implant, which manufactures osteosynthesis implants, is to set up a Middle East and North Africa distribution base. With this aim in mind, the company, which was only established in June 2002, is to exhibit at Arab Health between January 26-29 2003 in Dubai, UAE. The company is looking for regionally-based partner and has not yet made a concrete decision as to where the new base will be located. "Our expectations are based on research that outlines an average market growth of 9-10% annually," said CEO Ingo Kapp of the Zug-based company.
