St Jude Medical has won reimbursement approval in Japan for its family of Identity ADx dual-chamber, rate-adaptive pacemakers, designed to treat bradycardia and atrial fibrillation. The devices will be launched immediately in the country and distributed by Fukuda Denshi under the trade name Fidelity and by Getz Brothers, which will retain the product's original brand.
