Atlanta-based MetGen hopes to introduce the first home testing kit for monitoring phenylketonuria (PKU) in 2005, once it has secured a manufacturing licensing agreement for its technology. The test is a result of the collaboration between MetGen and the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), and will initially be launched in the US later next year, MetGen told Clinica.
