Unfazed by Cyberonics' rejection first time round, Advanced Neuromodulation Systems (ANS) tried its luck once more earlier this week and proposed that the two companies meet and discuss the possibility of a merger deal - only to receive the cold shoulder again from the Houston, Texas firm.
