BREG, a division of multinational orthopaedics company Orthofix International, has signed a three-year agreement to supply Health Trust Purchasing Group (HPG), a US group purchasing organisation, with its Polar Care line of cold therapy products for post-operative treatment. HPG, which spends around $5.5bn in healthcare purchases each year, recently took on dj Orthopedics, one of BREG's competitors, as one of its suppliers of cold therapy products (see Clinica No 1123, p 13).
