France builds up cancer research base

The French government is allocating a further Euros18m ($22.2m) over the next three years to 32 projects intended to further the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The projects will be co-financed by the National Science Fund and the National Cancer Institute and will see the creation of a 56 new research posts.
