Executive Summary
The Dutch subsidiary of Columbus, Mississippi-based Microtek Medical has acquired a number of European medical device businesses from Cardinal Health. The businesses, part of Cardinal's International Medical Products unit, based in the Netherlands, are focused on dip-moulded devices such as ultrasound probe covers, cardiac thoracic drain systems, gynaecological devices and woundcare products. Microtek says the deal expands its product offering in Europe, and should add $12m to its annual revenues.
