Scottish investment in medical equipment needed to implement the cancer strategy is continuing. So said Scottish health minister Malcolm Chisholm, in response to a parliamentary question querying the progress to date in implementing Scotland's cancer strategy. "There are remaining challenges, but [the Scottish Executive] is making good progress with £25m [$44m] recurrent investment in equipment, staffing and new ways of working to improve services for patients," he said.
