UK firm Toumaz Technology, a spin-off company from the Imperial College of London, is developing a wire-free electronic sensor device that could allow doctors to monitor a patient's health 24 hours a day. Feasibility trials of the device, nicknamed the "digital plaster", are expected to begin within the next few months.
