CardioTech International, the Wilmington, Massachusetts-based contract manufacturer of medical products and developer of cardiovascular devices, has called off its planned acquisition of CarTika Medical. It attributed the decision to the protracted time in obtaining regulatory clearance for its purchase of the Plymouth, Minnesota contract manufacturer, which was announced last November.
