Becton Dickinson's BD Diagnostics division has acquired protein separation technology and other assets from Munich, Germany-based FFE Weber. The Franklin Lakes, New Jersey medtech group said the financial terms were not material. BD Diagnostics president William Kozy said the acquired technology would help in the preanalytical process to find, characterise and validate new classes of biomarkers.
