Anne-Marie Wolters, a business development consultant, has been named to succeed Michael Tillotson as secretary general of the European association that represents contact lens manufacturers, EUROMCONTACT, as of April 30. Ms Wolters, a Dutch national, has been involved in the DGIII commissioned study on trade flow analysis of medical devices between the EU, the US and Japan and also has experience of the pharmaceutical industry. Mr Tillotson has been secretary general of the association for 17 years.
