Surgical Information Systems (Alpharetta, Georgia) has appointed Edward Daihl as CEO. The firm, which specialises in healthcare information networks, will leverage Mr Daihl's expertise in applying technology to improve complex business processes. Mr Daihl, who joins from Manugistics (enterprise revenue management) where he was senior vice-president, revenue management and pricing, will replace interim CEO Bob Schlotman, who will remain as a member of the company's executive leadership team.
